Text of Complaint by Harish Singla:

When i booked the room it was showing 100% refund if cancelled before 19th April but now its charging 504 rs cancellation charges.
They said its mentioned in the booking voucher but
Booking voucher was received after booking not before booking. I have clearly shared the screen shot at the time of booking and clearly mentioned full refund if cancelled before 19th April. Your executive asked me to click on the i button beside service fee but as per Indian law, this needs to be clearly visible when a customer is booking. Additionally under the cancellation policy details on the booking page, there are no further terms and conditions mentioned which customers have to check.

So this is a clear case of collecting money from customers by wrong practices.

  1. Dear Harish, Greetings from Yatra.com! We would want to inform you that Yatra charges a non-refundable online convenience fee at the time of booking for availing the services of the Yatra platform and the same information is mentioned online while making the booking under Hotel booking terms and conditions and FAQ’s. We have shared the screenshot via email on your registered email address under Interaction Id: 43244661. Regards, Yatra Care

    1. Please share a screen shot of this information when a customer is booking a hotel. I have shared you a screen shot of booking review page, could you show me the information visible clearly on that page (not after clicking the ‘i’ buttin beside service fees).
If not then provide me Grievance cell email address as your customer care executives are not providing the same.
If not then i have to skip this step and proceed further for the consumer forum for legal proceddings. This is not a fight for 500 rs but the incorrect way of looting money from customer.
