I am writing to formally file a complaint against Zomato regarding their failure to provide a refund for an incorrect order delivered.
On 11 Jun 2025, I placed an order through Zomato from Shabaan Non Veg Tikka Corner, with Order ID 6966297719. However, upon delivery, I found that the restaurant had sent the wrong item instead of what I had ordered. Immediately, I contacted Zomato customer support to request a refund/replacement, but despite my multiple attempts, they refused to process my refund, citing unjustified reasons.
This is a clear violation of consumer rights, as I paid for a specific product that I did not receive. Zomato’s failure to address this issue has caused inconvenience and financial loss.
I kindly request the consumer forum to intervene and direct Zomato to process my refund and ensure that such incidents do not happen to other consumers in the future.
