Text of Complaint by Jilesh Tolia:

Hi I am using Vodafone number  for Personal and Business use , I been changes of Rs 70,660.40 Saying that I have used 38.19mb in international Roaming .
So hear is my trip info
I have traveled from Ahmedabad to Kolkata on 22/12/20 ,
Then I have traveled Kolkata to Maldives on  23/12/20 ,
On Arrival to Maldives I started my mobile & received SMS from Vodafone saying welcome to Maldives & informing about the international Roaming , in sms it was told that my Data services has been stopped to safeguard high bill & to turn on I have to send SMS to activate the IRDATA to 199 , I have not send any sms has I don’t want to use the data in roaming ,I already got the wifi on airport and then after at my hotel also , my stay to Maldives was for 4 days , I Departure from Maldives on 27/12/20 & arrived to Kolkata and notice that my call service were stopped , I check the Vodafone app to check my outstanding & it showed me 5851 , so I paid the bill online with order I’d
(POS9136479358031389) , I waited for 30min but my services we not started , then I called your customer care and they told me to wait for some time because there system were having some problems , so I ignore because I have to catch flight to Ahmedabad , I arrived to Ahmedabad on 28/12/20 morning , still my services were not resume, I then visited to Vodafone care and I was told that I have outstanding amount of 70660.40 ,I was shock , so I ask how, they told me that I used 38.19 md Data in international roaming which cost me 58725 rs   , I showed then the sms I received when I reach Maldives showing rs 15/MB charges on roaming even I told them that I have not send any sms to activate the data services then how come this changes you applied , then told me they can’t help and given me email address appellate.guj@vodafoneidea.com & customercare@vodafoneidea.com , I email on both the address to solve my problem but I got no reply , even I request to start my outgoing services till the problem is solve but they said no .
Hear I want to let you know if your are sending sms saying my data services has stopped & to activate I need to send sms which I have not done then how come the data started , even if it’s use then why it’s charged more then the cost shown in sms , your sms told I will be charged rs 15/mb and you chaged me around 1600rs / mb how is this possible , no one at your Vodafone care are able to answer me on this , I been waiting for your replay on email and it’s been almost 1 week still no reply , I have attached photo of the SMS in this Email kindly check that , I request you to atlist start all my services till you guys solve this error .
