Vodafone complaint                                                                                                                                 12/04/2018

Am faxing you my complain & copy of my Huawei p20 pro contract.

Firstly I would like to apologize in advance because I don’t speak the German language

 

I used to deal with Vodafone in so many countries and I always receive an outstanding customer service behaviour but now I feel very very  disappointed with what happened with my today in Vodafone shop and I couldn’t imagine that this unappropriated behaviour and the lies and the rudeness and this way of dealing with customer with dishonesty, I couldn’t believe that Vodafone will treat me this way , therefor I really appreciate the patience and the work for the person who is reading this complaint and I would like to think you personally , just before you read my problem  please put yourself in my position .

I entered the shop and I asked in ( English ) that I need I advise with big screen so I can do my translation work on it and then i was asked to wait to speak to an advisor name ( Herr Celal Ciftci ) since he knows  English good  he came and offered me P20pro and he said it’s very good device for me despite the fact that I need the note 8 he told me you will pay 300 Euro for the note 8 device and for the P20 you will pay only 150 Euro I followed his advice and he told me that since you are new customer and good one I will give a good offer ( first 6 month 50% ) and you will pay for 17 month 60 Euro + 150 for the device + 40 Euro for opening fee for the contract , I told him actually I need sometimes to think about it , he told me don’t worry I will order the phone for you and if you need something get back to me . I said in this case no problem -ok

The same day I made the contract for my wife as she wanted one phone from other Vodafone shop not the same as they had an offer that is one didn’t have  , when we went there my wife took her contract and the man asked me you don’t need one for you , I told him, I made already a contract , he said Ah no problem , when I was going out I found in offer for P20 with 600 Euro less at total for 24 month contract , I checked on the internet and I found the device is very expensive for me , on the 09/04/2018 because it was after a weekend I went back to the shop ,  I found ( Herr Celal Ciftci ) again , and I said I am very sad and I don’t need this contract and that was still before 10/04/2018 which is the arrival day for my device  he didn’t even ask me why you need to cancel it , he said

(Am sorry but we can’t cancel the contract because this according the law in Vodafone Germany, when you take the contract from the store and you sign you can’t return or cancel the contract )

I answered

( I respect that , but the device didn’t come yet  and even if  ,I have 14 days to do so , beside you didn’t tell that when I took the contract , if  you told me that since you are the person who made the contract for me and speak the language ( English) , I swear I swear, I wouldn’t come to complain then I will call it completely my fault and I will keep it  , but you didn’t tell and am her in Germany only 4 month and I don’t know anything  )

He said

(  ok don’t worry in this case you will have to come again tomorrow , because my manager is in a meeting , and I can’t cancel the contract  )

I said (Ok)

I went back again to the shop and I found different person and the manager wasn’t there, I was very unhappy because my home is far from the shop and I have my baby with me, but I said again no problem, but can you please call the manager and tell him what happened so the days will not pass  , then he called him in front of me and he said no problem come on 12/04/2018 and  he told me look  the manager and the person who made the contract will have to be here and they will do it for you , I said ok

 

I went there again the same day  at 01:10 Pm and I found only the manager there, I explained everything to him and he said I know everything already and don’t warry, just come back again today at 3:.00 Pm and Me and ( Herr Celal Ciftci ) the one he made the contract will be here to see what happen between you 2 , I said ok .

I came back to the store at 2.55 Pm and I found customers in the store I waited my turn and ( Herr Celal Ciftci ) Came and said,  how can I help you , I said that your manager told me to come now so we can resolve this all togather , and I was so surprised when he said that my manager went home and he isn’t here , to say the truth I was angry and I told him how come , he promised me and then he said if you will not calm down goo out from my shop , I was asking myself what is happening and then when some customers started to come in he told me quietly lets go inside , I went inside and he told me again if you will raise your voice I will call the police  , and he called the police when I told him that I will not leave till you tell me what should I do  , he told me don’t speak to me at all , and after a while the police came he started to speak everything in German which I didn’t understand anything , and then the police told me that the store has a right to ask you to go out if he feels insecure , I said , it was true that I was angry but I didn’t do anything  to him and because after I found that the police is making report against me that I was trying fight with him and harassing him during  making his duty , the police finally said you can’t come again to the store and if he will call the police I will have to arrest you and you will have to go to the lawyer to resolve it without going back again ,he looked at me and he was smelling and I was completely shocked and the most surprising thing  happened  that he came in front of the police and he is giving me the device and he said that , you have to take it because , it’s my device that you will pay for it , the police officer told him he doesn’t need the device and that’s why you have this problem together , then the police told him to take the device and to go inside the shop and all the people watching thinking that I did something serious .

 

Now I went to one lawyer and he told me the right thing is to write a complain to Vodafone to you to see what will happen and then if nothing happened we can take legal action against.

 

My issue & reason am cancelling the contract:

  • the dishonestly point when He took advantage of the situation that I don’t speak the language , and he write on the 70 euro a month on the contract and he promised 60 Euro
  • The behaviour of the manager when he told me that if you won’t calm down you will go out from the store and the false promises he gave me.
  •  When the agent called his manger on the phone he told him ask him to go out and if he didn’t call the police for him.
  • Telling the police officer things I didn’t do, and I couldn’t defend myself because I didn’t understand the language
  • the lies he said to his manager and the police officer that he told me the rule of the contract when he open the contract for me so he will not lose his job and that I can’t cancel the contract , which  never never happened  .

 

Note

-You can check the camera in the store in case if I crossed the line or used in appropriate behaviour.

-What I need is Vodafone resolve my issue and to compensate me for what I have been through.
