Text of Complaint by Nishant:

Vodafone still sending me bills when I am no longer using Vodafone and have got my number ported to Airtel around 2 years ago. At the time of porting I had first cleared all the dues that I was shown in the Vodafone App to ensure I don’t face unnecessary issues. It still took me more than 2 weeks to get it ported at Airtel. As the process was taking longer time than usual due to “technical problem” as per Airtel, I decided to check with Vodafone as there was any issue from their side. I called the customer care and told them to check on which they replied that they don’t have my number in their database anymore so can’t help. Even after multiple request to the customer care to help me out, they did not budge. As I was left with no phone contact number for about 2 weeks, it hampered my business and payments. But anyhow, I got the number reactive on Airtel Network and things got back to normal. After a few months, Vodafone sends me a bill on SMS for which I gave them the whole clarification that how I cleared all dues before porting. Why will Vodafone allow porting and delete the number from their records before settling the bills, right?

Today, again, I see a bill from them after 2 years and it seriously looks like they are trying to harass me.

Therefore, I seek honorable court’s intervention in this matter to help me out and do the justice.

Regards,

Nishant
