Text of Complaint by Jyoti Saraf:

I have been using my Vodafone number for the past 3-4 years now, hence its registered with all my official documents.

I recharged my account on the 1st of Decemeber 2018. However for the past few days I have been receiving messages from Vodafone stating that the incoming service on my number has been  discontinued, asking me to recharge otherwise the outgoing service would also be discontinued.

When I called Vodafone customer service regarding the same I was kept on hold for 1 hour for getting transferred to a senior. Out of frustration I had to disconnect the call, and when called back and asked a reason for this message, she responded it is a government rule that I have to recharge my account every month, and if I don’t the incoming and outgoing service from my number would be blocked.

I do not understand why is this rule made, because it is very inconvenient and the Vodafone customer service is horrible.

  1. Dear Sir,

My Name is Praful Shukla having a vodafone no-9769241273 called vodafone customer care for the refund of INR 17 as I have not done any downloading in my phone.
I have spoken to Mr Sarang on 198 he misleaded me that you will receive the refund message in 24 hours and refund in 24 hours. Late spoken to Anand Sarwade he was very rude on the call and not willing to transfer call to manager. It seems my query is unresolved as suspect both Mr Sarang and Mr Anand misleaded me for refund.

Request your intervention to refund my 17 INR and taken action against Mr Anand who was rude on call.
