I rang Vodafone the week of 20 March 2019 I asked about a internet/ sky deal and was given a offer of 100 credit And the my sky $15 would be free plus an additional $10 of sky bill and internet at around 89 a month. We were moving to a new address and were told there was no extra charges for changing over doing the sky through Vodafone.
The internet was set up first week but only reached half the house so we had to order a extender which cost us an additional $99.
After a week of not being contacted about sky I rang and was told the request had been put into sky for the transfer so I waited another week then rang sky they said they had not received a request so I had to arrange for the mean time to sky to turn it on at the new address which was charged $50 which was upsetting as Vodafone said there would be no charge through them but because they had not followed through I had to pay.
I rang Vodafone for the third time and they said the request was rejected by sky the Vodafone person had requested in my name not my husband who is on the billing so Vodafone rerequested to sky I rang back week later it had been rejected again from sky the Vodafone people had missed a number out of my sky account . So I waited a another couple days rang back again the wait times were ridiculous every time I rang hour or more .
Every time I spoke to someone they promised to follow through to solve the issue no one has . Then two weeks ago I rang asked to speak to manager and I was just put through to another cal centre person who wanted my account details again I refused and said I needed to speak to a manager I was finally put through to a Linda in Christchurch who promised to credit all the extra I’m paying in sky because they haven’t sorted it and to follow through she got her worker Hannah to text twice saying they follow through
and then I have heard nothing for another two weeks I’m so upset I have spoken to at least 6 different people no one has followed through and then to top it off I tried to pay the internet bill before due date six times online and a error kept coming up saying it didn’t work then tried ringing phones didn’t go through so I thought the manager lady will ring in next couple of days and I’ll sort
but no she hasn’t I tried ringing Vodafone three more times and asked to be put through to Linda and say say they can’t do that and now our internet has been turned off and I tried to pay bill and couldn’t I have never dealt with a company which such terrible follow through this nightmare has been going on for three months! Such bad customer service will anyone do the right thing and help?
