I had made extra payment of ₹590 on Jan 14 2019 towards ph# 9986883452…I had called customer care and advised to adjust that amount towards the month of Feb 2019. however it was not adjusted and I went to vodafone store in Basaveshwaranagar, bangalore to complain about the same and they said they will resolve the issue. When i visited again in March they said that they credited back the amount of ₹590 in my account and asked to provide my bank statement. I provided the bank statement which did not show any credit in my account and after which they did not respond. This has been prolonging till now and the issue is still not resolved and they have disconnected my number. I also keep receiving payment reminder calls for total amount and they have no idea where was the extra payment of ₹590 adjusted…I raised the issue on twitter with Vodafone India and the person Narendra Singh from social media called and told me that he will take care of the issue and said that they sent a cheque to my address in mail. This was something different than what I was informed my vodafone store people as they asked for my bank statement. Also to my surprise they had my old mailing address so the cheque never came. I also asked why was the cheque issued when I did not request for a refund and as per their policy they adjust extra amounts towards next bill…the person agreed to me and he had no idea why the cheque was issued…so I told them to adjust the amount towards the bill and I will pay the remaining amount due…the person said that cannot be done and I have to pay the full amount due and they will refund extra amount through cheque.
I have been facing payment harassment calls almost everyday from last 4 months.
I visited nearest vodafone store 5 times in the last 4 months which is 15kms away from my home and that cost me transportation charge of ₹1000
In addition, they have disconnected my number from the month of April
Due to this, I have faced physical and mental stress, monetary loss, reputation loss due to number disconnect and interest loss on the amount held by vodafone for 4 months which is not credited to my account.
