Vodafone India, I am writing this post out of frustration and all the mental harassment and troubles i have faced being your customer.

Past couple of months have been troublesome as far cause of continuous unnecessary charges which have been added again and again even when the Number is out of Country and not Working.

I have received the bill for January of INR 5529.76, out of which 399 is the monthly rental. And rest of the charges are the VAS Charges, which for sure i have not used or subscribed any of the things.

And such charges were added in the previous 2 bills as well which was kind of sorted out and at the same time i requested the executives to discontinue any sort of VAS services, which for any reason is not known how they get activated.

All the story began in December when I Ported my Prepaid No +918080686355 from mumbai to delhi.

And during the process i was informed that for such porting i have to shift to POSTPAID connection, which i DID (Certianly that was the biggest mistake what i did, cause after that all this issue started).

As this was my old numbers i have been using since a long time.

Then the Number got activated after porting on 8th December 2017 at 10:10 PM (as per vodafone records) and i flew out of india on 9th December at 2AM which is couples of hours after activation.

On board the flight i received 8 to 10 messages stating activation of Multiple VAS services Viz: Beauty Tips, Fashion tips etc etc, (god knows what else) at the time was helpless couldnt do anything as was taxing for Take off.

Then comes the first bill having unnecessary VAS charges included in the bill amount and the same continued with the next bill as well. And i got all these charges after using mobile hardly for couples of hours in what i hardly used whatsapp or facebook or may be youtube.

Then for the bill period til 23 rd Feb i have received the Amount of INR 5529, out of which approx 4000 is VAS charges and due to same there is INR 1000 plus taxes. After going out of india on 9th December i came back on 2nd Feb 2018 and in between the number was not in service, paid the bill of INR 577 on (399 rental plus excessive VAS charges) to which Vodafone executive said that the additional charges will be considered in the next billing cycle.
and for the next bill cycle from 24th Jan to 23rd Feb the bill amount is as mentioned above along with the unnecessary charges which has been dumped on me, and then the customer care executives tries to justify that

I only activated all the services, are we some uneducated people or someone who dont have any knowledge about using the phones and accessing the internet. I am a telecom engineer too and i am well versed with using the internet or the electronic gadgets and other things but according to you guys we are the one who keep on activating these kind of stupid services.

I can understand if for once or twice by mistake such things may happen but in this case its certainly not that case.

I am attaching a screen shot of the bill in which it shows the charges for VAS addded each second, i mean like if in any case any website or something is chargeable it takes some time to refresh and charge, But how come each second it is charged.

And going by ur current network standard even opening a google web page takes more than 2 seconds, then how can some one click certain website just like that, once twice can be mistake but its like continuous 7 to 8 times with each second passing.

and on op of that if such thing happened how come i didnt received any sort of message from whatsover service was activated.

This is Horrifying experience for me. and during my entire stay in india i was not able to use my mobile at all except for the initial days. How much trouble can 1 Person face without phone especially when entire time he is spending travelling. all this mental trauma and physical harassment while visiting your store which i visited at least 3 to 4 times to get it done.

Its shame that you call yourself India’s best Network and Provide best customer satisfaction.
I am completely fed up of this, i am going to discontinue the Vodafone services and surely am not going to use Vodafone again.

And i am not going to pay this bill at all until someone from your side i going to resolve this issue (if you actually want to resolve). And if possible appoint someone who is capable of understanding and resolving the issue.
