Text of Complaint by Vijay Desai:

Bill payment towards Vodafone No 9189727554 for an amount of Rs 1625/- was done online through net banking on 7th September 2018. Amount was debited immediately and SMS received from bank. However, the transaction was not updated by Vodafone. Even after 24 hours of the transaction the status remained unchanged and phone was not reactivated.

Upon visiting Vodafone store at Vashi Station, the service attendant lodged a complaint and told it would take further 48 hours to resolve the issue. I told 48 hours is too big a time and not acceptable and I would approach the consumer court for not providing proper service on which there was a blunt reply to go ahead.

I have been facing the issue of online payment through the Vodafone App on a regular basis, but ignored it. This has now started to get on my patience.

Would request to take strict action against such unprofessional service and false advertising.
