I made a booking for AC servicing with Urban company and the send a technician for the same on 4th November 2023. While all my ACs were cooling just fine till that date, the service guy Faroque told me that I am telling you in advance that the gas in the Living room AC is very less. I told him that the gas seems fine as the AC is cooling very well till now and we have to switch it of at time when it gets very cold. He kept forcing his view on me and told me that he can change the for lesser amount then Urban Company if Rs. 2500/- for the gas is high for me. I said there is no need and told him to just do the service and leave. The other guy by then had ensured that the gas is finished.
They serviced and left. Later my wife switched on the AC there was not cooling at all. I then raised a complaint immediately to urban company and they sent the guy again in the morning on 8th November 2023 and he kept defending himself. UC customer care also kept defending it. I re-opened the complaint and the customer care said that we have already confirmed that we can’t do anything.
This a very smart way of fooling the customers. Send you technicians and they damage our equipment and good and then tell us to get it repaired at their defined rate for the repair.
Please help on this urgently.
