This is R.Thamotharan – senior citizen past 80 years retired from Central PSU.
Previously Sun Network DTH was my service provider. Their service was poor and they exploited the customers unduly. I switched over to Tatasky DTH on 27th July 2017 (Customer id: 1234725933). I opted for mainly tamil and english news channels besides sports. The usual package charges would be around 228/- p.m and I pay 230/- every month.The validity period would be either 20th / 21st of every month. Last month I paid 230/- on 20th Dec 2021 and my next due date should be on 20th jan 2022 but the telecast notification recently showed the due date as 15th jan 2022. I reported this to tatasky helpdesk and they maintained the date as 17th jan 2022, saying that an IVR call was made for 75/- in the name of ‘Tatasky service’. I totally repudiate this because I need no more additional service than what I get and also myself being a nontechnical person, has no knowledge about the IVR calls.
Incidentally I wish to mention that due to malfunctioning of existing set-top box, a new one was installed during Dec 2021 for whcih I have paid 750/- immediately on its installation. In view of the above, kindly make a detailed investigation and render justice to me.
Here I wish to mention that Tatas are patriotic and gave 1500 crores to PM Cares Fund besides spending a portion of their profit to social activities. In this background of the matter I expect fairplay from your end.
