I had booked a bus ticket, on 26th September, for a journey on 27th September, 2018, from Patna to Siliguri. Due to certain reasons I had to cancel the same. I cancelled the ticket on 26th itself for which refund was generated on the same day. But till date I did not receive any refund. Despite regular assurances from their sides that they would solve the issue in 24hrs, they did not solve my case yet. I have already called and cautioned them around 10 times. They postpone the issue every time. The complaint id that paytm has generated is:
Details of the transaction:
- 5 (Five) tickets booked, all adults
- Journey from Patna to Siliguri
- Date of Booking: 26th September, 2018
- Date of Journey: 27th September, 2018
- Date of cancellation: 26th September, 2018
- Terms of the ticket cancellation were that for a cancelled ticket, Rs. 50 would be deducted and the rest would be refunded, applying these terms to my transaction, Rs 462 per ticket shall be refunded, which has not been done.
I have also found out that causing delay in refunding such amounts is part of their business strategy. They deal with many customers in the same way.
It is my request to please solve the issue because such fraudulent and frustrating behavior from such companies who are involved in fiscal matters shall stop.
