Text of Complaint by Piyush Verma:

I have ordered food with Swiggy on 7th October 2023 at 8:13 pm. When food hasn’t reached me I contacted swiggy customer care on chat. They said food will reach me around 9:19 pm. But food hasn’t came till that time. Then again I enquired about my food. Customer care guy said delivery guy is noting picking his call and he will update me in a while. I have contacted delivery guy, he said there is very heavy traffic and he will take more than 1 hour to reach me. The same thing chat customer care guy has written to me an asked should he cancel my order as it will not reach in defined time. I said yes. He promised me to refund my amount with 4-7 hours.

I have canceled that order only because my refund was coming. After 8 days when refund was not showing in my account I contacted swiggy they denied to refund or any cupon. I said why cant you do that if you have promised in first place. You customer guy initiated that cancelationa dn promised to refund then why you cant do it.

They came in some dictator mode and started saying they have some policy and it is not in my favour.

I have every thing writing that swiggy’s customer care guy promised me refund and initiated that cancelation. I need my money back with compensation of wasting my time.
