On 22-Sep-2023 , had placed and order #178467744412 to Hotel Empire (83,Nehru,Main Road).
The order was placed at 7:30PM and I received multiple calls from the Swiggy Support between 8PM and 9PM.
I was told that the food has been picked up from delivery partner , but the delivery partner had bike issues so we have identified another delivery partner who will handover the food ordered. Truth is no one showed up until 9:35 PM.
Later on call to support team , i was told that they are unable to track the person who collected the order.
Reason of raising this complaint is :
1) Swiggy App continued to say that Order will be delivered until I called Customer support team, this shows bad tracking of ordered
2) The person who had the order, his contact details was not available even with support team.
3) In course of identifying where the order is, we lost 2 hours of precious family time including kids and elderly waiting for food
4) Customer support could have taken better initiative in such cases and ensure that the customer’s order reaches in utmost quality and anticipated time. Guess that was mission of Swiggy that is ROYALLY FAILED in this incident.
5) Finally I received refund , but we should be given due respect of customer time and expectations.
Strongly recommend to blacklist their services as they are NOT upto mark.
