Swiggy not delivering the full food and when claiming for the rest of the pizzas they deny that they are not responsible.

Text of Complaint by MATHEW A THOMAS:

I am Mathew A Thomas and on 18/11/2022, I ordered two semi half margarita pizzas from Oven Story Pizza through Swiggy which had an offer of Buy one Get one Free. After using the coupon, I paid ₹414 for four semi half pizzas. The restaurant accepted my order and the delivery executive delivered my order at 7:28pm. After opening the package, I found that I had received only two boxes instead of four. Knowing this I immediately filed a help support with Swiggy at 7:34pm. Swiggy was denying my complaint and no agents considered my request. I was left at utter disappointment, later I tried calling Ovenstory Pizza customer care and they stated that two packages which had four boxes was delivered to the delivery executive and I was connected with the Swiggy delivery executive Mr.Vinayak who claimed that the restaurant only delivered him a single package with two boxes. I asked the Customer Support to give me a proper resolution and they asked me to contact Swiggy support directly. After a long hassle, I managed to call Swiggy customer support and stated the same situation which I was facing and they connected me with the delivery executive again. After having a conversation we made sure that the mistake was on restaurant’s side and the Swiggy customer care executives kept on transferring the call to their other agents and kept saying “that no refund or compensation can be provided as of now” and they wanted to mail my complaint at email.support@swiggy.in and promised me that proper resolution will be provided after I send them a mail. I did the same and I was getting the same reply from their email support team stating that the evidences were not clear and no compensation can be provided. I replied them again and stated that I don’t need compensation rather to just deliver me the assured food which I ordered. Swiggy clearly knows that the mistake was on their part and still denying their mistake and cheating me. I want a proper resolution from Swiggy and also an apology from their side for their bad behaviour.
