I was planning to make a purchase of worth 400 on Swiggy Instamart app, but they had a promotion banner which said get gift box on orders above Rs.699. So I placed the order worth 700 expecting a gift box, but I didn’t. When contacted swiggy, they said it’s a surprise campaign and is for a limited period only and until stocks last. However this detail is nowhere mentioned on the banner or anywhere else on the app. Many more consumers place higher value orders in hopes of getting the gift box by looking at that banner and get scammed. This offer is so misleading and a bait.
