On 28-02-2025, I placed an order from Chicago Pizza via Swiggy (Order ID: 199701385487569) and paid ₹820. Upon receiving the order, I discovered a hair in the pizza, which is a serious hygiene and food safety violation.
I immediately contacted Swiggy’s customer support, expecting a refund for the contaminated food. However, instead of addressing the issue, Swiggy refused to take responsibility and merely told me to file a complaint with the food safety portal myself. This is completely unacceptable, as Swiggy, being the service provider, should ensure food quality and provide a refund for such an issue.
Despite multiple attempts to get a resolution, Swiggy has completely ignored my emails, texts, and messages on every platform, showing a lack of accountability and customer care.
I am filing this complaint to demand a full refund of ₹820 and to hold Swiggy accountable for failing to ensure food safety and customer satisfaction.
