Text of Complaint by Sanjeev Gaonkar:

Sugam tourist bangalore. Cheated my money rs. 493 denied to cancel the bus ticket before 6 days of the journey date

I booked a bus ticket online through sugama tourist website to go to my native place ankola on 06 sep 2018 for my journey date 13 sep 2018.

Next day on 07 sep 2018 because of my personal schedules. I required to prepone my journey date for one day before my travel date to 12 sep 2018. Online i started in the sugama tourist website there was an option prepone/postpone immediately i clicked the option after adding necessary details of my ticket and date of travel my ticket got cancelled and i have received the sms saying my ticket is cancelled. Immediately i called the bus operator in gandhinagar – bangalore and i requested them to please prepone it or allow me to activate the ticket so that i can book for the date 12 sep 2018 if any additional amount i will pay but they informed me that your ticket got cancelled and the money will be refunded with in 3 to 4 working days.
So i gone ahead to book in another public transport ksrtc. After some time
I have received the e-mail saying that your sugama travels cash coupon is generated validity date to use this is 30 sep 2018.

Again immediately i called them and told because you confirmed me over phone my ticket got cancelled i already booked ticket in other operator so please cancel my ticket or coupon because i am not suppose to travel again in your stipulated date before 30 sep 2018. For that if you require you can deduct 10% amount and refund the rest of the money,

But they denied for it by saying once coupon is generated we can not cancel after 30the sep 2018 if not used money wil not be returned
I told them it is wrong to tell like that because 6 days before my journey date you are saying like this.

Operator told me that you will not get laddu like that.

I am asking my money and i have the rights to ask i have not asked their money.

If i have clicked the prepone or postpone date it should show me alternative available date but not to cancel the ticket and impose their own law.

It shows they intentionally set that option in their software

I want to ask the operator

Is this also the way of making money??

Is this not cheating???
