Text of Complaint by Sushant Gupta:

Booked a hotel ( JRD exotica ) for stay in Delhi for two days (15-17th November) through Makemytrip for my marriage anniversary. The hotel is posted as a business hotel and a premium property with a daily rate of Rs. 6000+, we paid a total of Rs. 12664. Once we checked in the hotel, we found the room was full of cigarette smell and bed had male hairs on it. We requested for a change of room, the other room was also in the same condition.

We decided to move to another hotel and checked out. We communicated the makemytrip consumer care the same thing and they confirmed with the hotel and confirmed that they can only refund for one day as we already checked in on 15th November. I argued with the representative and she confirmed that they can try the refund of the other day from Makemytrip. The conversation has been going on since 15th November but they have not approved the second day’s refund and today told that they will not be refunding.
