Hi,

I received a SMS to upgrade my sim (mobile 8801233480) to 4g on 17th April. So on 20th April, I walked into one of the Airtel store to upgrade it. The guy took my phone and sent SMS and told me to insert the NEW SIM once the current sim is deactivated and new sim will get activated. The existing SIM stopped receiving signal the I inserted new Sim on 19th 3pm. But it’s not activated yet. I called Airtel customer service to know what happened. Their response is not at all helpful. The customercare executive said, since am in Karnataka and my sim is from AP, 4g upgrade not possible. Asked me to visit same outlet they would sort it out. If that’s the case how my previous Sim is deactivated?  And why my earlier sim cannot be activated. Since that’s only contact I have I can’t make or receive any calls. I also undergone knee ligament surgery hard for me to visit the outlet everytime. So please try to help me to resolve the issue asap by activating either of the SIMs
