Hi Team,

 

My name is Abhishek Srivastava and since last 11 years I own a Vodafone postpaid connection with number 9899-625-965.

I lost my phone on Sunday, 08th Sep. Since then I have not used any of the service on my account. On 09th Sep, I had a word with customer service team for replacement SIM card. They diverted me to Vodafone store/Mini Store with one ID proof.

On 10th Sep, first I visited the mini store and they refused to issue me a replacement SIM card. They said that the replacement SIM can’t be issued by the mini store and diverted me to Vodafone store, Janakpuri. I was left with no options, so now I have to visit Vodafone store, Janakpuri.

I went there and had a word with “Rahul”. He took all my details and told me that he needs alternate number of mine for SIM card activation. I said, I don’t have any alternate number. He said, in that case SIM card can’t be issued. I requested for “store manager. After waiting for 15 mins. Store manager came. Her name was “Anamika”. I explained her that I don’t have any alternate number and asked what are my options? She repeated same statement which Rahul used 15 mins before.

I said that you have already verified my ID proofs and I have given you all the necessary details for verification. Now why new SIM card can’t be issued/activated? She said that it’s company procedure and she can’t over ride it.

VERY FUNNY IF IT’S A COMPANY PROCEDURE (I DOUBT ON THAT). I OWN THIS CONNECTION SINCE LAST 11 YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY ALTERNATE NUMBER REGISTERED (BECAUSE I NEVER HAD ONE) ON MY ACCOUNT.

I never missed any payment in last 11 years of my association with Vodafone and such a bad treatment is HIGHLY UNACCEPTABEL AND NOW I REGRET THAT WHY I DIDN’T CHOOSE TO MOVE TO JIO WHEN I HAD A VERY GOOD OFFER FROM THEM. ANYWAYS, BAD DECISIONS ARE ALWAYS GOOD LESSON FOR YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE.

Now after such very nice gesture of great service, I want only PAC from you, so that I can move to JIO and end my loyalty with VODAFONE. If you want to connect with me, I again explain that I don’t have any alternate number with me and can only be reached through email. My email is already registered on my account.
