I have a sim card of Karnataka, while am in Telangana for past couple of years I got it to prepaid, after that the sim dint work. I went to airtel office in Hyd, submitted docs and got a new sim, the docs verification was rejected and I got to know after following up. Then I visited another branch as the earlier branch was crowded and small one. This branch also I submitted docs and got another sim, again the activation was rejected, 3rd time again I went and did the same process again verification rejected.
This number am using since 2006, the reason they gave was photo not matching and docs not verified. The verification team also claims that they have called thrice and the number is switched off while I didn’t get a single call.
There is no clarity why the verification is getting rejected and why the verification team is trying to match 2020 photo with 2006. Then why do we have other ID proofs as Aadhar n Pan card? All can verify on photo.
A simple port process is making me visit branch 4 times and still the issue is not resolved.
I want to know what does the verification team want to verify?? In this situation am going to branch regularly, I have kid and yet the team is not acting sensible.
This is complete flop system, I wonder who are the people sitting at verification team who don’t understand the criticality of getting sim active. Am trying to be responsible and giving all doc’s asked, visiting office as told yet my request is not catered.
I have Income tax to e-verify and a emi to pay, for both transactions I need this sim to be active.
This is very depressing and traumatic experience.
