When I was in Australia I placed an order for a SIM Only contract and I asked for my phone to be changed over from GiffGaff on the 6th December 2019, I received emails confirming my order and also confirming that my SIM card would be at my home address by the 4th in plenty of time for my phone to go over. I arrived home to find no SIM card had arrived, I contacted Customer Services and spoke to a foreign sounding young lady who told me that the reason my SIM card had not arrived was because I never confirmed the order, I told her I had as I had an email saying so, all she said was she would contact her Manager and see if another one could be sent out. My phone went over on the 6th and I still had no SIM card so I rang up again and was given another load of excuses and I informed the person I was talking to I was going to see my Solicitor and put the phone down. The next day the SIM card arrived and since then I have been contacted 6 times by various people from Customer Services wanting to talk about my complaint, one even offered me £5 towards my bill. Even today I have received yet another message asking to talk, the last one I told it was in the hands of my Solicitor and still they keep ringing me. I will talk to someone from Vodafone Head Office about this complaint and no one else. I added International calls to my plan as my Mother who is 91 was in hospital with a serious condition that’s why I needed the SIM card when I returned. I am totally fed up with being messed about by your Customer Services, they won’t listen all they keep saying is let me try and sort things out , they are a total joke what a way to treat new customers.
