We went to Lonavala on 9th Jan 2021. A guy approached us with scratch card of Royal club saying that it’s there 10th Year anniversary (lie) and we will get one gift out of 4 mentioned in Gift card. He asked us to go to Valvan village resort to claim our gift. In resort there sales expert and fraudsters (Mr Kalpesh and Mr Trushal) pitched in various membership plans for more than 2 hours. At last we agreed on a 3 year membership plan at 42000 INR (where were our brains!!). In addition to that they told us that they will take care of annual maintenance charges of 9000 + GST.
They shown us that they have hotels at more than 180 locations worldwide and we can book any hotel any time. But now at the time of booking they are just giving 6-8 locations as available and also charging maintenance of 10800 INR and that too after many calls and mails over 10 days and I’m sure they’ll charge more on pretext of tax or admin fees if we go ahead with any bookings. This is just plain cheating, they are inviting people on false pretenses and then not providing the services for which we already paid up. The number of lies that they told during the whole sales pitch is unjustifiable and they are just running a sort of Pyramid scheme.Image Uploaded by Ayush Agrawal:
