GOT BILL OF 22830/-  WHILE MAKING COMPLAINT WITH GRIEVENCE CELL THE REPLY RCVD IS VERY FUNNY.  KLY GO THRU THE SAME AND “Message body Dear Customer, Warm Greetings from Reliance Energy. With reference to your issue regarding high bill, please note that the factors mentioned below might be responsible for an increase in your energy bill; 1.Seasonal Variations – Unusually cold or warm weather can significantly alter your electricity usage. 2.New electric appliances usage – If you have recently installed a new major electric appliance – such as air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine or computer – your usage of electricity may increase. (We kindly request you to visit our website http://www.relianceenergy.in for details.) 3.Defective Electrical appliances – Appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and geyser need to be repaired immediately if they are found defective. 4.More people in the house – More people means more consumption of electricity. Guests at home can lead to increased electricity consumption- The fans and ACs might be switched on for longer durations. Similarly, an increased usage of appliances like geysers etc is a possibility. Family members electricity usage patterns might differ from one to another- and this can again lead to increased consumption during various months.For instance, some people set the thermostat higher/lower, use more/less hot water, open doors more/less which makes a difference. 5.Changes in Life style- Different work shifts, a new baby, and kids on their holidays, illness, retirement etc are a couple of things which can affect an individuals life style.
