On may 13th, I placed an order on swiggy application my order id #167028895680. I wanted to cancel the order because it was taking a long time to get delivered. I was trying to cancel it for so long but was unable to do so. I don’t know that was the phone’s fault or Swiggy’s server but what matters is that I was unable to cancel it. After that I went to the help section and I tried to cancel my order just because it was post one minute cancellation which was also not because of my fault, they asked me that you will be charged a cancellation fee. It was a 614 rupees cancellation fee which is the whole amount of the order. What is the fun of cancelling my order with swiggy people, if I am not getting anything back in return. By mistake, I read that 64 because I thought it couldn’t be 614. But the very next moment I realized my whole money has gone just like a donation to swiggy that too for the full sum amount. My concern at this part is you either they refund me the amount or deliver me the order to the mentioned address. It is simply grabbing the customer’s fee out of their pockets. i sent them an email stating the same complaint but they said they can not do anything as it was a post one minute cancellation. They are not considering anything like a phone’s glitch or server issues. For them, it must be a little amount if it would have been 100 200 it would not have been bothered me much.
