On 7th 2022 I did a recharge for international roaming in Vodafone number since my relative was visiting to my current country (not India). I checked Vodafone site and did an appropriate recharge which clearly stated the destination country is included. It was costing 2695/- INR. After landing here it international roaming didn’t work and to contact customer care services they need otp in the same mobile number which doesn’t have network so finally without any option I contacted them via email and explained the situation clearly. Got an automated response saying it will be reverted within 48 hours. After 48hrs no response and then I sent a reminder for that there was a 72 hrs delayed response saying I need to change some phone settings. I tried but it didn’t work so again another email again wait for them to respond which took them 4 days to respond by that time the recharge validity was over. They replied delayed saying sorry your destination country is not included the pack you have selected. I said it’s present in Vodafone site and how can you say this now. I responded saying it’s fine process the refund. They said they will get back again they took 5 days respond which is so much delayed than their automated response saying that refund can be processed as a balance in the Vodafone number and not as money back to the account and to KY surprise they said I have to bear the GST cost for the initial recharge. Their reason was Vodafone can no way reclaim that GST which is paid already. I wasn’t ready for paying the GST for service that wasn’t provided. I asked for Whatsapp call to discuss the same, the response was we tried WhatsApp call but we couldn’t connect, but I receive calls everyday. It went on like this for 30days. A representative finally called me in WhatsApp and said they can provide a refund of 2200 as a account balance in Vodafone number. My question was what can I use it for? Nowadays call or data nothing is chargeable per use so I asked I want complete amount I said as a cash back in account he said he will check and come back. After the call in the number from which he contacted me has been blocked so that I cannot contact again. He came back again last to Last week saying if am I okay for a recharge of 2800/- which is one year talktime extension in the current plan. I said yes it’s fine in this case. And no response after that for more than a week. To my surprise i received a mail saying please recharge 600/- so that we will add the promised 2200/- to make it one year validity.

I have mail proof for all the information provided I might have missed some more information against them too
