Text of Complaint by Brandon Fernandes:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings!

Attached herewith please find tickets booked on 06163 Garib Rath SPL from Lokmanya Tilak station (LTT) to Madgaon (MAO) for July 16, 2021.
On reaching the LTT station, we learned that the train scheduled to depart from LTT would depart either from Thane or Panvel station due to technical problems. We got panicky, called the travel agent to cancel the ticket. But he told us that once the chart is prepared he is not able to cancel the tickets. (copy attached)
We, then booked an OLA to take a chance to reach Panvel to board the train. Hardly we were out of LTT station, it started pouring so heavily and there was a traffic jam. The driver advised us not to go any further as it would be difficult for us to reach our destination on time. We had no option but to return home.
The railway authorities sent a reminder message giving details of the PNR and seat numbers, if they could have also sent a message with regards to a change in boarding place it would have saved us from going to LTT and board the train in time.
I sincerely request you to look into the matter and grant us a refund for our tickets.
