Jet Airways has cancelled flight tickets booked by me for to and fro from Bangalore to London. I have followed-up instantly with Jet Airways and they did confirm that they have cleared and I need to check with paytm. However, since then I have been following-up on the refund and everytime customer service says that they have escalated the issue and its been close to 6 months and my funds are stuck. Paytm customer care is not responding to the mails as well. I have raised the issue in Consumer forum as well. Docket No. 1580995
Here is the gist of the complaint raised
Ticket was booked from Bangalore to London and Return through Paytm on Jet airways. Ticket was cancelled by Jet airways for Bangalore to Mumbai and did allow Mumbai to London. However, return ticket London to Delhi; Delhi to Bangalore was cancelled. No refund made till date. Initially, I have followed-up with Jet Airways as soon as flight was cancelled. They confirmed that they have received the list and validated the refunds and I need to talk to the ticketing agent which is Paytm. I have been following-up since then for my refund and they keep promising that they are following up with the airlines and has been escalated. However, Paytm is not giving a clear status where it stands and what level of escalation is being done. They have stopped responding to the mails as well. Whenever called, they say that they are following up and they can’t give timeline as Jet airways need to pay them back in order to pass it to the consumers. I’m unsure if Paytm has reached out to NCLT. Refund is due for the below flights 1. Bangalore to Mumbai 2. London to Delhi 3. Delhi to Bangalore Paytm Booking ID : 6870427006 Booked on: 24 Dec 2018 12:29 AM Travel from Bangalore was on 09th April and return was booked for 15th May’19.
