This is Abhishek Dutta. This mail is regarding a complaint that I have kept lodging with Paytm. I booked two ways train tickets on 18 December 2018 for myself, of one of the journeys from Kharagpur junction to Sainagar Shirdi junction in Howrah SNSI Express under PNR- 6320919797 and the journey date was on 27 December 2018 and other was from Pune junction to Tata Nagar junction in Pune Azad Hind Express under PNR- 8211225981 and the journey date was on 1 January 2018. So, altogether I paid 4065Rs (2070Rs + 1995RS) to Paytm against my order numbers- 6314028153 and 6313844403 of these journeys. Afterwards, I cancelled two tickets of my sister of those journeys and waited to get my refund of 1235Rs (605Rs + 630Rs) after depleting of cancellation charges of 60Rs*2= 120Rs from Paytm. But unfortunately, no refund has been reflected on my bank account ever since I cancelled the tickets of my sister. And, when I contacted, they said that they already initiated the refund of 1235Rs to my destination bank on 17 December 2018. So, in this case, I should talk to my destination bank. Therefore, as per their recommendation, I, myself got through bank helpline but they refused my request by saying no refund has been initiated by Paytm so far. Since then, I have kept ringing to Paytm helpline and SBI Bank helpline too but no assistance provided and along with I also shared my account statement to them but seems no care at all. Hence, I finally have taken a step and decided to escalate this matter to forward with National Consumer Helpline portal’s help with docket numbers- 1098516 and 1097289.
