Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Online Food Ordering
The issue that I have experienced was: I was travelling to Mumbai and wanted to order sweets from Mohanlal S Mithaiwala and get the same delivered to my sisters place in Chembur. After Selecting the order i added the address to Zomato and place an order for Rs. 455. Upon checking the order status the delivery was set to somewhere else than what address was mentioned by me. Immediately after noticing the same i wrote the customer care (During this time the order was still under preparation and even a valet was not assigned), the customer care representative informed me that once the valet has been assigned they will get the issue resolved. After the valet was assigned a customer care representative called me and informed that the valet would call me and deliver the order to the pin location for which i informed him that the pin location is the wrong location and the same has to be delivered to the typed location, he informed me that the valet would call me and deliver the same to the typed location. when the valet called me, the valet informed me that the same is not possible as he would get penalised if he delivers at a different location and asked me to contact the customer care. The customer care informed me that they would cancel the order and no refund would be initiated as the order was already out for delivery. I had informed Zomato way before the order was out for delivery that there was an error in the app, for which they did not check and just waited for the order to be out for delivery. I have written several emails to Zomato for which i have received generic replies that they are sorry for the inconvenience, they have noted down the issue etc but there is no resolution for the refund.

I would like Zomato to issue the refund.
