Text of Complaint by Pradeep Kumar:

Dear all, I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Flipkart. On 20th April 2023, I placed an order for a washing machine with Invoice Number # FANQ312400000129, but I did not receive any confirmation from the company, nor was any amount deducted from my account. I went to check my order history but could not find any confirmation. As I had to gift this to my cousin for her wedding, I decided to order again the next day with Invoice Number # FANQ312400000134, and this time, both amounts were deducted from my credit card.
Upon delivery, I was surprised to receive two washing machines instead of one. When I contacted Flipkart’s customer care, I was informed that the policy did not allow for returns. This mistake was solely the fault of Flipkart as I had not received any confirmation from their end. I had to order twice due to website glitches, and Flipkart did not take responsibility for their system’s errors.
Now, Flipkart is denying a refund, leaving me with two machines I do not need. As a user, I am at a loss, but as a seller, Flipkart can sell these machines to anyone. This situation has left me with an unnecessary financial burden and a bad taste in my mouth.
I have never faced any such issues with any other e-commerce website, and I believe that such dishonest practices are only carried out by companies that cannot sell their products fairly. I swear never to buy anything from Flipkart again, and I will advise all my known to stay away from this thief of a company.
My transactions were made through credit card, and I am now left with debt as well. This situation is ridiculous, and Flipkart does not seem to care about the problems their customers face.
I warn all of you to beware of Flipkart’s dishonest practices. They have no reputation and only want to steal your money. Keep away from this thief of a website, and do not let them rob you.
I am not hopeful that Flipkart will make things right, but I wanted to share my experience in the hopes that someone in the company will understand the gravity of the situation.
