I decided to port my number to Airtel almost a month ago.The customer care operator wrote the wrong address leading to unsuccessful address verification.I decided to contact some other customer care centre.He assured that the process will take a week and my number will be ported to Airtel.I made a no. of visits to the centre confirming each day about the status.Once my account wasnt created,the other day my previous request was not cancelled,the address verification is still not complete.It is almost a month and now after all this I gave up all hopes and decided to choose some other network operator.I dont know how Airtel is dealing with its huge customer base with such casual and irresponsible attitude.
