Dear Sir/Madam
I am a privileged user of Vodafone services through my mobile no. 9953088537 for last many years.
Somebody b y the name of Vaibhav 9315394554 called me on 25th February and informed that Voda has come out with a scheme for privileged customers under a scheme that they will give a new number and then club my both numbers under a monthly scheme of Rs.299/- per no. and give a 20% discount. I said yes to the offer
Vaibhav came and delivered me a sim with a number 9953192999 and collected id and photograph with a promise to activate the same by 24 hours.
I checked with customer care after 2 days as to why the activation of new no given to me has not been done. They said they are giving a reminder and it will be done by night. THis has been happening since last 4 days.
Today when I checked with your customer care at 3.24PM, they could not give me any satisfactory reply. The call went in for 24 minutes and sometimes they said that the referred no. belongs to some one else and the bill against the same has not been cleared as such activation cannot be done. Then they came out with an excuse that this can be fraud played upon by me . Whereas a day earlier to this the customer care people assured that they are sending a mail for immediate activation. Well all these most illogical answers.
I then rang up Vaibhav who came to deliver the card. He further made me talk to one Anil from 8929837612 who said that he is speaking from Vodafone store and has already sent a mail for activation today and it will be done by Monday . Imagin 7 days for Voda to activate a number . When I further tried to verify things I found that the new sim card no given to me happens to be in the name of one Kalyani
Getting fed up I intend now shifting my even 9953088537 no to Jio or Airtel and need to know the action being taken by you in this respect and let me know the correct position at the earliest. You can approach me at 9953088537
