I ordered gold coin in phonepe to deliver at my address on 10th September 2021. Now it’s 24th September. Their promised date of delivery is 7 to 10 working days. It’s already 10 working days and 14 days. On 13th of September status updated as packed. After that till today status not changed. I raised ticket in phonepe they contacted 3 days back asked for extra time other than that they didn’t give any details like reason why it’s delayed what is happening when it can deliver. They just argues saying it’s still within their time lines 7 to 10 working days. They are just saying they want time, I agreed. Today is 3 days from the day they talked, I opened that closed ticket again and then they are saying they are not sure. They want another 3 days just like that. On what basis they are be days they can’t tell. In these 3 days how are they planning to deliver no answer. I asked them to cancel the order and revert the delivery charges and gold can be placed in my phonepe vault. They said they can’t do it.
3 days back when they called that person told me if nothing happens they can cancel. Today some different person called saying we can’t cancel. Phonepe is hiding the rights of its consumer. Everytime different person will contact and tell the same story. Intentionally the actual who is working on it won’t call second time.
After today’s call when I questioned for cancellation and their plan for delivery, they started creating a fake shipping AWB number and it again shows item is not ready to pick. Also it shows item is ready for pickup.
They are just misleading with this.
There is no other option to customer other than just waiting. This has to be changed. if they can’t provide an option to cancel the service they can’t sell gold. I want consumer forum to take action on phonepe and make them to provide an option to cancel as how they provided an option to buy. Otherwise they should hold their gold ordering business until they get that option included. Consumer forum should stop phonepe business until they provide proper options to customer.i have several people also complained on this same issue. It’s not a issue for a single time or single person. It’s a big issue. Consumer should have his rights to cancel the order when he don’t receive intended service.
