There is an E-commerce company called PhonesDeals which has shared a notification of sell of Phone at just Rs2999. When I proceed with advertisement, I ended buying the phone and made the payment through PhonePe.
While the price was looking suspicious to me, i have taken snapshot for everystep and proceed with payment. After this, i have got the message that payment is made to an person called Ankit Jain (which looks suspicious to me for first time but I ignored). Later I was looking for the company details and expecting the shipment details but haven’t got so far so went on Google and searched it.
There i realized something wrong happened with me when saw couple feedbacks and complaints as fraud claim. So i started finding customer care for that company and got to connect with someone Amit. He mentioned the order has been cancelled from company end (another surprise for me). Later he said the refund will be initiated after sharing the PhonePe details. He asked me to send one message to 9223011112 and asked me to fill Google form shared by him.
I was curious to see what happens next and when checked the Google form, it was asking for PhonePe Pin. There I stopped the person and asked why all things are required.
