Text of Complaint by SHADAB SHAIKH:

Dear Tata Play Nodal Team,

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the level of service I have received from Tata Play. It is disheartening to note that I have never once been able to access Tata Play’s services smoothly through a regular customer care call.

This is not a first-time experience for me.

In my previous complaint, one of your employees took a cash payment of 500 INR from me, failed to recharge my account, and amount get in own pocket and subsequently credited the same amount back into my account from long complaint in nodal office. In my second complaint, due to an out-of-station trip, I had to temporarily deactivate my account using customer call and chat services. However, to my dismay, despite confirmation from your customer care executive, I found my account debited with 300 INR.

Furthermore, on the 2nd of this month, I encountered another issue. Suddenly, the signal on my set-top box ceased. Upon registering a complaint via WhatsApp, your technician arrived on the 3rd and resolved the issue, but unfortunately, the resolution lasted only 12 hours. Later, at 9 PM the same night, when I turned on my TV, the signal error recurred. Once again, I reached out to the technician personally via WhatsApp. He came on the 6th, rectified the problem, but once more, the issue resurfaced during the night.

Could you please let me know if I can receive the service properly just once? The reason I continue with Tata Play is for my family’s convenience. Otherwise, I would have long discontinued the service. It’s disheartening that while you’re prompt in deducting the charges, when it comes to service, even after multiple visits, it’s not resolved in one go. If you have even a shred of integrity, you must refund my deducted amount, and the service must be provided properly.

I request your immediate attention and resolution to these pressing issues.
