Last month I had been charged with the monthly rental for paytm sound box which were deducted from the paytm account without my consent or knowledge, even though i have not opted for the sound box ever since i have registered with the paytm merchant account. I noticed the deduction in the paytm business app after the total amount settled to my bank was not matched with the amount received in the paytm app
I tried contacting paytm customer care with my issue with the device and the rentals they told me that the soundbox is active and money was deducted as the payment of monthly rental for the device
Then i recalled that one of the paytm agent has visited my shop last month asking me OTP for necessary and regular updates of my payment merchant account. He asks for my phone number and otp to fix any unnecessary problems and safety updates so that i should not face any problem in future.
Thats the same day my paytm soundbox got activated which then i confirmed with the paytm customer care
I have contacted with the paytm customer care continuously for the last 12 days but no communication was received from them not even any satisfactory action was taken by their side.
Every time they say your complaint is registered and forwarded will take action in 2-3 days but nothing till now. Even now today when i called them they registered again and asked me to wait for 2 -3 working days more untill my problem was resolved
