I purchased a TV – Kodak 81.28 cm For Rupees 15,349 (EMI 3x Rs.5116). Purchased Date was on 20th July 2018 and it was delivered on 27th of July. As, soon as I received the TV, I realized that the product was not as described neither the photo was nor the model was, as the TV I received was 80cm model. Completely a different TV was sent. I requested for return on 27th itself and after explaining for 2 to 3 days and contacting more than 15 times I was able to prove that the product I received was wrong item. Paytm finally took my complain and return was initiated. It took them almost a month to pick up the item. After that the item was picked up on 30th of August and delivered 10 Sep 2018 ( as can be seen in delhivery tracking no. 1628110173994). When my product was delivered to seller my product was still showing as return rejected. So I contacted Paytm mall on 30th of August itself and they said that product status will be updated. It was then on 5th of october I directly got an EMI installment bill of 2 months Rs.11769.07. I had no other option left and I contacted Paytm again. Paytm denied for around 10 times again and after multiple times of contacting they were able to verify that the product has been picked and delivered. Okay, from here after a lot of struggle Paytm managed to initiate the original amount, but not the interest amount I was being charged for not even knowing that I will be charged. Because I requested return of TV in the same day when it was delivered. But it took them 20 days to pick up via Delhivery and after product return they took another one month to update as product picked up that was on Oct 08. Even after this Paytm took another one month and marked product Returned on 09th of November. They have still not cancelled my EMI and today i got call from my bank saying that I have pending EMI of Rs.8500/-. My Bank asked me to provide details as EMI was still ot cancelled by Paytm. Today I called Paytm and Paytm agent says Paytm agent says it was Paytm’s fault but Paytm is not responsible for any loss in the complaint number #95922403 (Paytm can not refund). Yes, I kept a copy of this recording because Paytm has tortured me with my every issue. I have contacted total around 30 times just for an issue that I received wrong product and I wanted to return it safe and sound. What is happening now is that it was not my fault, delay was in Paytm system, every mess was done by Paytm and here I don’t have TV but I have to pay Rs.8500/- for nothing. I believe that it is not a huge amount, but being a customer I feel so cheated and who knows, maybe they have been doing the same with lakhs of customers. I would like to take this case to the court and show them whose fault it was and who is supposed to pay for it. I have my record with me 27th July Return Requested, 4th Aug Return Approved, 8th Oct Return Picked, 09th Nov Returned. After my complaint now they have changed the Picture of TV in description, changed to the one I have received. I have many more photos regarding complaints and their processes including recordings. But I can’t upload it.
