Text of Complaint by Dr. Niruti Gupta:

On 06/03/2018, paytm allowed me add ₹5,500 to my wallet without warning me that I would not even be able to send that money back to my bank without linking my Aadhar.

As of today the Supreme Court has indefinitely extended linking Aadhar to banks, mobiles etc, still paytm hasn’t allowed me to return my money to my bank.

Given the amount of crime possible and associated to the Aadhar and fingerprint impressions, I am not at all interested in being forced to give either of them.

Even if the govt of India makes it mandatory paytm cannot force me to give my information in return of wanting my money back.

I do not trust paytm for giving my information, so even if govt of India, Supreme Court of India make it necessary to link Aadhar, they can only make it compulsory if I want to use the wallet. I do not wish to use this wallet again, I simply want my money to be returned to my bank account, which is linked to my Aadhar.

Paytm can only make users give Aadhar if they want to transact with other paytm users. Not returning back the money to the account is a clear case of fraud. If paytm was ethical, then they shouldn’t have allowed the money from the bank to be added to the wallet without Aadhar in the first place.

I want my money back in my account immediately, and paytm has no legal right to force me into giving my extremely crucial information just for returning my own hard earned money to my own bank account.
