I had recharged my mobile phone via Paytm, for ₹448, and was eligible for a cashback of₹50. However, they are not giving it to me, saying that I did not enter the code. I’m certain that I did. Also, they are not responding to my mails. I asked them to send me a mail stating :
1) that my account is a new Paytm account
2) that their records show that the very first time the Paytm account was used was to recharge my mobile
3. That the recharge amount was above the ₹349 minimum recharge amount
4) that I am not eligible for the cashback as “i did not apply the promo code”.
Since I asked for this letter, which I wanted to send Airtel, they have stopped responding to me.
2nd case: I was supposed to receive a cashback for ordering from Domino’s, even that has not come in
It has been more than 72 hours.
Its sad to see that Paytm earns by cheating their customers
