Text of Complaint by Ankit Kumar Monga:

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to report a concerning issue regarding a recent transaction made through the Paytm platform. On 20-May-2023, I attempted to make a payment using Paytm for an amount of 24910, but unfortunately, the transaction failed at that time. To my surprise, I discovered that the amount was debited from my bank account despite the failed transaction.

I immediately received a message from Paytm, notifying me of the failed transaction, but it took an unusually long period of two days for the notification to reach me. As a result, I was left confused and worried about the status of my payment.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and refunding the debited amount to my bank account. I have attached the transaction details and the message received from Paytm for your reference. The transaction ID is 350634841040

I have already contacted my bank regarding this issue, and they have confirmed that the payment was indeed debited from my account. They advised me to reach out to Paytm for further investigation and resolution.

I understand that technical glitches can occur, but the delay in notifying me about the failed transaction has caused significant inconvenience and uncertainty. I trust in Paytm’s commitment to customer satisfaction and hope for a swift resolution to this matter.

Please review the situation urgently and take the necessary steps to initiate a refund for the debited amount. Additionally, I kindly request you to investigate the cause of the delay in notifying me about the failed transaction, as it is crucial to prevent such occurrences in the future.
