I purchased a Kelvinator 1.5 Ton 3-Star Split AC along with a Foxsky 32-inch LED TV from Smart Bazaar, G M road, Kathalbari, Darbhanga, Bihar, 846004 on 19 July 2026, for a total combo price of ₹32,989. The AC is unused and has not been installed. I have also not used the installation service. I requested the Smart Bazaar store to exchange the Kelvinator AC for a Lloyd 5-Star AC, and I am willing to pay any applicable price difference. However, the store manager has refused the exchange. ₹1,415 was charged on my bill for AC installation, but installation has not taken place. A service technician also requested approximately ₹1,000 separately for the outdoor-unit stand on 31/07/2026. Since the AC remains unused and uninstalled, I requested Reliance to please review this case and arrange an exchange/upgrade to a Lloyd/Carrier 5-Star AC, with appropriate adjustment of the amount already paid and adjustment of the unused installation charge. But Reliance formally denied my request saying that return policy period is over. I paid for product and for installation bit still products are kept in box.
