My name is Pratheesh Kumar, and my friend’s name is Sudheesh Kumar g, recently we went to Chennai, Tamil Nadu to send my brother to his company project abroad. So, after finishing some checklist in Chennai, we booked a hotel room in Chennai which was nearby Chennai international airport, booking was done via OYO Rooms (https://www.oyorooms.com/). check in Tuesday 28th February 2023 12:00 PM to Wednesday 01st March 2023 11:00 AM. Hotel name was Collection O hotel Sadha Siva Near Chennai International Airport, for 4 adults and 2 Deluxe room. said booking confirmation ( ID : PKAR5720) and payment receipt done via PhonePe and uber taxi booking receipt also attached. So we reached Hotel and asked hotel reception regarding my booking they told me that booking was done only for 2 adults and 2 rooms because of this I showed them booking confirmation mail with 4 adults and 2 room details but they didn’t accept so we didn’t check in to that hotel and went outside the hotel. I tried to contact OYO while this I noticed 2 mail from OYO which mentions my booking was updated . 1st update was for 2 adults and 2 room then 2nd was for 3 adults and 2 rooms this both updation was done without my consent. contacted their customer care and they told me that booking was modified by hotel manager so they can’t do anything and told me that they will investigate. So, we didn’t check in to that hotel which can be confirmed by hotel CCTV cameras as hotel updated that we checked in even when we didn’t check in. so from
there, I booked another hotel room same via OYO rooms for same 4 adults and 2 rooms, booking was confirmed, and I received booking confirmation (ID: OEXX1434). because of last experience I contacted OYO care and confirmed booking for 4 Guest and 2 Rooms. After which I booked Uber taxi and went to Collection O Arn Guest House Near Chennai Airport. After reaching there the receptionist told us that we should pay extra payment as payment done for room is very less and they can’t accommodate with this amount, but we told them that we paid to OYO full amount for 4 Adults 2 rooms then why require extra then they told that it’s like that as we were tired and next day early morning my brother had flight to we paid extra 700 and stayed. I need a refund for ID: PKAR5720, as it was modified without my consent and require refund for 700 Rs which was charged extra by OYO rooms ID: OEXX1434 even when I paid full amount via phone via through OYO Platform. Taxi fare from Teynampet to Collection O hotel Sadha Siva Near Chennai International Airport should be also compensated as I booked only because I received booking confirmation from OYO for 4 adults and 2 Rooms. Kindly do the needful.
