I have booked oyo rooms online on 8th June 2019 in Manali Himachal Pradesh family vacation. As reports comes in various news channel and online about heavy jams and chaos in that particular areas because high volume of tourist coming to the valley and tourist are on roads for more then 15-16 hours, I have to cancel the booking as we were traveling with kids. So to cancel I called OYO helpline and the OYO executive told me that I can cancel the booking and there will be no charges for the cancellation and refund amount will b in my account in 7-14 working days. I also asked him if I can change my booking to different hotel but he says that I have to cancel first then I can do the new booking and your refund will be back in 7-14 days. Then he hold my line for more then 40 minutes and then line was cut. Then I go online and checked there where it says that 100% amount is refundable before cancelling 16th June 2019. So I did my booking cancel on 12th June at 5:25 pm (I have attached a image when I was cancelling my booking which says 100% refundable till 16th June) Then I received a mail which is very confused one in which they says a small amount will be charge for cancellation and I was ok with that. But down there mentioned refundable amount will be Rs 0. Then I was shocked. I try to reach via helpline but as usual phone was busy. Then I communicate on mail where they just replying we can’t give refund for this booking. This a very big scam and cheating is going and done by OYO and quoting there cancellation policy Which is very confusing and wrong. Total amount for booking is Rs 39560 and they are just refuse to give even when I done the cancellation On time as per the given screen shot of OYO website.

oyo is worst. your refund policies is worst. I asked your customer executive to refund my amount by they refused to refund and give me a statement that it is againt our policies.
OYO call executives even dont know about oyo policies and giving statement that refund is against the oyo policies.

I lost my 1200+ Rs amount because i already paid them before check in.

i gave them genuine reason that hotel manager refused me for checkin without filling unauthoried form.
hotel manager is asking me to fill the form which will be shared with the local authorities.
