I have booked Hotel Prabhu in Dehradun (Booking ID HY4J2253) through OYO and paid in advance. My booking was confirmed. When I reached the Hotel, I was told by the Hotel Reception that they cannot give me a room as the booking amount is very low. They asked me to cancel the booking vy calling OYO Care and obtain refund. I cancelled my booking and have to search for another Hotel in odd hours. This is very embarassing and not expected from OYO. Why they give cheap price when they cannot offer rooms. Secondly its a scam from the Hotel side so that customers will book at cheap rate and pay extra money to the Hotel at the last moment to avoid searching other hotel.
