Text of Complaint by Sathish Katari:

I placed an order with order id OD125834954151387000 on the 26th of August 2022, and the delivery date was given for August 29th. The order package reached the nearest hub on August 29th at 5 am, but the order was not delivered to me. The hub is located less than 3 km from my location. The delivery date was postponed to August 31st even though the order had reached the nearest hub. On August 30th, they cancelled my order without informing me. When contacted by customer service, they said that the area is unserviceable. But in reality, the area was serviceable because if the area is not serviceable, then how come Flipkart accepted my order? When I approached the nearest Ekart Logistics hub, they told me the order was cancelled because of a lack of delivery boys to deliver it.
The next day, when I spoke to a Flipkart agent regarding the order to be delivered back to me from their side on August 31st, 4 pm, in that call, the escalation team member, whose name is Praveen, told me that they would provide compensation of 1200 rupees for this order’s rejection and that the value of the order got increased. To receive this compensation, he instructed me to place the same order within 7 days, and the compensation amount would be credited to my Flipkart wallet after the new order was delivered. I asked for acknowledgement for this compensation, and he said the amount would be given by the seller, so there is no need for acknowledgement.
So I believed him and placed a new order (even though the value of the order got increased this time) immediately after the call ended, which is holding an order id of OD125880721723445000 on August 31st, 6pm, and the delivery promised date given is on September 4th, but the order is again delayed and delivered on September 7th. After delivery, I checked my wallet for compensation. But unfortunately, the compensation was not credited, and I again approached the Flipkart agent. They simply said that there were no records updated and the one who told me on August 31st may have given me wrong information. I was shocked to hear this.
The Flipkart Escalation agent, Praveen, clearly cheated and misguided me to place the same order and made me wait for such a long time. I have all the proof and call records to approach legally. I will take stringent action against Flipkart. This is blatantly illegal under the Consumer Protection Act.
I wish Flipkart would intervene and resolve this issue smoothly as soon as possible.
