Hi Sir,
As we knows Amazon is one of the biggest online shopping platform. But the thing happened last time with me is really shocking and really a bad experience with this big shopping Centre brand.
As I belongs from Port Blair in India from a middle class family.
I was waiting for the Great Indian freedom sale, that generally starts before 15th Aug. This time it was from 0001hrs 9th Aug to 2359hrs 12 Aug.
As per the deal I wish to buy some item as per lighting deals that ends soon. there were also 15% Cashback on SBI Cards if you purchase 5000rs or more during this sale.
When I got deal on my items I decided to purchase them, as deal was ending soon I made order in fast mode, but by Amazon have set my old address as default address my orders put on my old address that was of Jaipur. I called to Amazon care and ask them to update the address, but they told that it’s not possible to deliver any item more than 30km area, they can deliver. After that I have cancelled my order that more than 5000rs.
On the last day I also called to Amazon representative and Confirmed about the 15% Cashback offers, and he told that I have to purchase 5000rs n more during 9th Aug to 12th Aug, it is not necessary that it should be a single amount, I have confirmed it from Amazon representative. After that I have ordered the items as per deal and on my new address. The amount was more than 5000rs, and I have made it on 12th August.i have ordered 3 items 01 is 64 GB Samsung memory Card, 2nd is Carrel Cotton fabric women long skirt and I have made payment of total 2901rs by my SBI Card on 12th August. But as I have confirmed from Amazon representative the total amount should be more than 5000rs, so I have purchased one more item that was Coolnut
CMPBSUN-27 20000mAh Power Banks with Rubber Coating, 3- USB Charging Port, 3 Micro USB Cable & Charging Adapter (Complete Kit), Order date -12-Aug-2017,
Order No # 405-8291415-5758712 of Order total AMT 2,499.00 (1 item), that I have made payment by same SBI Card.
As my all orders placed successfully and I was waiting for the delivery. As per scheduled delivery I have got my items prior the date given. But the last item is still showing dispatched, that was having 24th August as delivery date. But when I didn’t got any call or message regarding delivery I called to Amazon representative and I asked to deliver my order, he he told me resolve my query sooner. And when I called them again in evening for delivery my order they told that Sir your order have been Cancelled by seller, as that was detected item, and now you will get refund for this item. I asked them to deliver me other one piece, and not to cancel my order because, this is linked with my great Indian sale 15% Cashback offers. But they refused and also told me that Sir you have made 2 transaction both, but as per there offer it should be more than 5000rs and one payment should be made, I told them I have confirmed from Amazon representative that the total amount should be 5000rs.
I also told them that I am going to complaint in Consumer Court, but they didn’t take it important issue.
There are total three points I have against Amazon –
1. Why they have cancelled my paid orders without intimating me???
2. The customer care representative who are dealing with customer should be experts regarding all deals, n offers, if they give any information the Amazon should take responsibility of that.
3. As per the offers and I have talked to Amazon care representative I was eligible for 15% Cashback of my 2 orders that have total 5400 INR (2901 INR + 2499 INR), as per offers I should get 810rs Cashback. Why I didn’t got that, still now…????
4. I have ordered my items, I should get that, if the item was defective, I should get another piece. Why it is automatically cancelled, without my knowledge.
5. If there are no any fault of customer, like me who was waiting for this sale from a long time and orders the items and made purchase more than 5000rs purchase, because I thought I will get refund of 800rs nearby, and it will be good deal for me for all three items.
But the team Amazon and there seller have made my deal suspect, they automatically cancelled my order, and refunded money, I didn’t get any cashback nor my items.
So now request you to resolve my issue –
I want my Cashback 810rs,
I want my item to be delivered,I am ready to repay.
I want to claim against Amazon that I have suffered without any fault.
Request you to take necessary action.
