Text of Complaint by Dinesh Prajapati:

I had purchased Airtel SIM card very long back, now from past few months network is very week and it drops frequently. I thought of upgrading the SIM card to 4G will solve the issue, so I visited nearest Airtel Office – T. Dasarahalli to do the same. They immediately allotted duplicate SIM and activated it. Later they started asking for 25 Rs. for duplicate SIM. I said my old SIM was not working hence I came to change the SIM which should be done free of cost. They said its rule for duplicate SIM, but I had asked for upgraded SIM which is generally free. After spending 2 hours and consulting with Airtel Customer Care, they said I have to pay. Later I paid and asked for payment receipt which I am enclosing here. They have given one small paper saying that they have collected 25 Rs. from me. They are even not giving proper bill for the payment. Felt completely cheated and poor service from Airtel.
